Axel Gerstenberger - Rolls-Royce

Dr.-Ing. Axel Gerstenberger - Digital Product Design - Rolls-Royce Deutschland Ltd & Co KG

Axel will present “Evolving Co-Processing with Catalyst2: Toward Hybrid in Situ/In Transit Workflows”.

The Rolls-Royce Hydra Team has used ParaView and Catalyst to support scalable in situ CFD and multiphysics visualization and analysis. They are now transitioning to Catalyst2 to enable more flexible and efficient hybrid in situ/in transit co-processing. This talk outlines their current setup and focuses on their plans for integrating Catalyst2 into future workflows, highlighting key motivations, expected benefits, and early design considerations.

 Antonio Baiano Svizzero - Undabit

Antonio Baiano Svizzero - Undabit

Founder

Antonio will present “Beyond Visualization: ParaView as a Strategic Tool for Science and Communication“.

ParaView is often seen purely as a scientific visualization tool, but its potential goes far beyond that. In this talk, Antonio will share how they use ParaView not only for visualizing simulation results, but also as an educational platform, a data exploration environment, and even a marketing tool to communicate complex physics to clients and broader audiences. From high-fidelity rendering for outreach videos to interactive visual analytics in R&D, ParaView has become a central piece in their open-source-driven workflow.

Tim Gerrits - RWTH AAchen University

Jean Favre - CSCS

Jean Favre - CSCS

Senior Scientific Visualization Engineer at CSCS

Over the course of two decades, ParaView has grown to be the world’s leading open-source visualization application. Today, billions of atoms, particles, computational cells are no limits to the compute power of this data analysis and visualization engine. We will illustrate some of the stages of the phenomenal growth of ParaView, which has accompanied several generation of supercomputers, and enabled award-winning advances in computational sciences.
