Pierre joined Kitware Europe as part of his 3-year PhD Thesis on Deep Learning SLAM on camera and LiDAR data for which he will jointly be working with Kitware and the Mines ParisTech Robotic center.
Prior to joining Kitware, Pierre obtained his Articifial Intelligence Master from ENS Paris Saclay.

His past experiences involved the improvement of a 3D SLAM for LiDAR Data as well as algorithms and optimisation models implemented in C++. During his gap year, Pierre worked at Sinequa (Cognitive Search) in Paris where he integrated a Machine Learning tool box to the Sinequa’s search engine.
